Plant Coordinator


AE Concrete specializes in delivering standard and custom civil precast solutions: Water, Electrical and Communication Vaults, Chambers, Trenches, Box Culverts, Street Light Bases, and a variety of custom precast solutions via our in-house engineering team. Quality of Work is very important to AE Concrete as we are a CPCQA, CSA, CWB, and COR certified precast plant. Our organization has been a leading provider of civil structures for over 30 years. As a positive and proactive Plant Coordinator for AE Concrete Products Inc., you will support daily administrative operations as well as the broader organization. Working closely with the Plant Manager, you are responsible for the coordination of routine operational activities to ensure the plant and plant office run smoothly/on schedule and are allocated the necessary resources. In this role, you must also be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. As back-up support to multiple operational roles, our ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently in a fast-paced environment.


  • Record plant data and run daily reports
  • Administer KPI Information and gather data
  • Maintain stock of plant and office supplies
  • Help plan and coordinate special events, including team lunches
  • Assist with organizing and tracking internal and external training
  • Manage the organization and filing of documents or records efficiently
  • Act as the primary contact for site service vendors, Coveralls, Recycle Bins, etc.
  • Demonstrate expertise and proficiency in health and safety regulations, ensuring strict adherence to guidelines and regulations set forth by WorkSafeBC.
  • Develop and implement safe work procedures in compliance with WorkSafe BC guidelines that promote a healthy working environment
  • Provide administrative support to other departments (ie. Purchasing, Shipping, Scheduling, etc.)
  • Support special assigned projects
  • Other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related position
  • Experience in the manufacturing and/or construction industry, asset
  • Intermediate computer skills, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong and professional work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to achieve success and generate results both on their own as well as through teamwork
  • Heightened Safety Awareness

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Permanent
SALARY: $45,000 – $55,000 per year, plus benefits and bonus
