Our History Goes Back Over 50 Years.

AE Concrete was founded in 1972, as a partnership between Abercrombie and English, with initial operations in Coquitlam and Richmond. After the company was sold in 1978, the company moved from Coquitlam to Langley, and then to Surrey in 1990. In 2008, the company was sold again to Armtec and was rebranded as Armtec in 2010.

In 2017, the company was sold to Headwater Equity Partners and was rebranded back to AE Products Inc. This sale marked the return to the company’s roots as a privately owned, independent, premier precast concrete supplier. We have now moved our Head Office back to Langley and our manufacturing to Agassiz.

Today, AE Concrete continues to be a market leader in civil infrastructure precast products. The success of our company is built on our commitment to excellence and the strong customer relationships we have maintained over the years. Engineering integrity, safety, exemplary customer service, and maintaining the highest quality standards are still the pillars of the AE Concrete brand. We are proud to be one of the only CPCQA, CPCI, CSA, COR and CWB certified precast concrete plants in BC.

We have been improving our safety performance year after year, and recently achieved 5-years with zero lost-time accidents. This is a major accomplishment in the precast concrete industry, which stems from our commitment to creating a safe working environment.

While these successes are a great first step forward, we are committed to further improving the safe working conditions at our facility by:

Improving our safety culture by designating champions on the plant floor who will focus on providing safety leadership and building a caring workforce. We will also implement safety posters, videos, public speaking events, and townhalls.
Providing/creating safety procedures, practices, systems, training, and equipment. This will continue to be an ongoing effort that is closely tied into incident investigations, corrective actions, HSIP, and 5S.

AE Concrete is a member of the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC and is a proud signatory of the BC Safety Chapter. AE Concrete is proud to be COR Certified.
